Review of Hamilton The Musical in San Francisco!

Went and saw Hamilton The Musical last night in San Francisco at The Orpheum Theatre. Great show and performances. Some of the big numbers were very moving and the performers are top notch. Very clever staging, choreography and lyrics which have a rap vibe to them and are telling the story of Alexander Hamilton and the founding fathers of America. It has been raved about as the best musical of this generation. My opinion is that its not Phantom of The Opera, Lion King, Wicked or many of the old classics but for today's younger audience its perfect. Looks like its drawing in a younger crowd which has been missing from live theatre musicals for years.

Prices on the other hand are very stiff. $100- $850 plus service fees (really service fees needed on top of those prices) and sold out most of the time but you can always get seats here.

Also there is a daily lottery on line www.luckyseat.com/hamilton/ where if your picked you get seats in the center orchestra in the 1st and 2nd rows which were fine at $10 each. (Yes Ten Dollars Each). To think that the persons sitting just behind us paid $475 - $850 per seat depending of which row? Oh well supply and demand rules in today's markets.
