Bridge School Benefit 2010 Lineup Announced

Buffalo Springfield, Pearl Jam and Modest Mouse are just a few of the bands scheduled for this year’s Bridge School Benefit.  See dates, tickets, lineup and seating maps here.

Neil and Pegi Young’s annual charity event takes place Oct. 23 and 24 at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, Calif. Proceeds benefit The Bridge School, which helps children with severe physical and speech impairments.

Young's managment company told Pollstar Buffalo Springfield’s lineup will feature surviving original members Young, Stephen Stills and Richie Furay. Rolling Stone notes that Buffalo Springfield last performed in public together in 1968 and played together privately at Stills’ house in 1986. Original bassist Bruce Palmer died in 2004 and drummer Dewey Martin died in 2009.

Buffalo Springfield, Pearl Jam, Modest Mouse, Merle Haggard with Kris Kristofferson, and Grizzly Bear will perform both days.

Saturday will also feature Elvis Costello, Lucinda Williams, Billy Idol, and Jackson Browne with David Lindley.

Sunday’s lineup includes T Bone Burnett's Speaking Clock Revue featuring Elton John & Leon Russell, Elvis Costello, Ralph Stanley, Neko Case and Jeff Bridges.
